UMW Grantt Powers Borneo Safari 2025 for the 9th Consecutive Year!

The thrill of adventure is back! The Sabah Four Wheel Drive Association (SFWDA) is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with UMW Grantt International Sdn Bhd, as Platinum Sponsor and official lubricant for the 33rd Borneo Safari International Offroad Challenge 2025. This marks nine consecutive years of collaboration – a testament to shared vanue of durability, performance and pushing limits, both for man and machine.
From 26 October to 2 November 2025, over 500 rugged vehicles carrying 2,000 participants and competitors will tackle the dense jungles of Sabah. Teams from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Russia and USA, Phillipines, United Kingdom, Brunei, Thailang, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia and India will traverse long-abandones logging trails over eight gruelling days, battling mud, rivers and unpredictable terrain.
The partnership was offcially cemented at a Letter of Agreement (LoA) Signing Ceremony at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kota Kinabalu.
Signatories include Encik Faez Nordin, Persident of SFWDA and Encik Iskandar Mohamed Salleh, General Manager, UMW Grantt International. Also present were members of both teams, including Borneo’s Safari event management leaders and UMW Grantt representatives.
